A magical and creative non-linear escape room game. You don't have to follow puzzles in order, and teamwork is essential!

The second game I played at Clockwork Door was the older of the venue's two games, Alice; which of course has a Wonderland theme. There's no information about backstory on the website, and indeed not much in the way of plot in the game, but your task is to free the White Rabbit and that gives you a clear goal to aim for.

Where Witch House is a very linear game, Alice is not (as the gamemaster informed us in the briefing). Several different strands can be followed in parallel. That's a structure...

Whilst out of fairness, we’re wondering if our experience was down to a bad Games Master, or if there were genuine problems with the room. Here at The Escape Roomer we like to give the benefit of the doubt, and second chances with other rooms where applicable. But after reading a number of other similarly disappointing experiences in very similarly disappointing ways, we wonder if this might instead be a β€œgive a miss”.
