You are respected scientists individually working on secret government funded projects in laboratories located in an abandoned warehouse in the Theater District of Milton Keynes. One of the scientists, Professor Samuel Pottenger, has just been dragged kicking and screaming along the corridor by unknown armed assailants. Pottenger is known to you as a very level headed man of immense intelligence and absolutely not one prone to an emotional outburst… Discover his secret.

Not a great themed room, and some unclear puzzles / bad riddles took the fun away a bit, but the ability to race other teams in identical rooms is a nice feature. Nice finishing area, wish the room itself looked more like it!

great hosting

Really cool theming from the moment we entered, and the GM was in character (and costume). Fun puzzles and good storyline

Brilliant hosting. The odd bit that was more confusing than most but on the whole a great room which we really enjoyed

I liked that this was a race against other teams - other than that nothing really stood out. It was solid, but not exceptional.

Locked In A Room are the highest capacity escape venue in London, with 13 rooms capable of letting 78 people play simultaneously. That's 13 rooms consisting of duplicate copies of each of two game designs, and of the two Timelock is their easier room.

This is an almost completely linear game. It consists of a series of puzzles, each of which when solved provides a clue for the next, plus any necessary objects. Most puzzles result in a four digit code for a numeric padlock. Within that framework...

A mass-market escape room that's very much geared towards large corporate groups. The puzzles were fairly basic, the room was good but not stunning and the finale didn't excite. Enthusiasts are likely to be disappointed but if you're organising a trip for beginners, they'll have a good time.
