A fun room - would recommend for a more experienced team as it's quite tricky and jumps from linear to non-linear with alarming regularity. Some puzzles were a bit illogical but nothing we couldn't handle.
Excellent fun! This room starts in such a realistic setting! There is stuff to do, leading to a big surprise and then things get wild! We thought we were so ahead of time but no there was still sooooo much to do!! Really enjoyed this one
2nd Thrilling Visit to Locked In
I looked at Locked In’s website with my friends and we all agreed that Kiss of Death sounded more than interesting, so we scrubbed up and made our way to St Margaret’s Hospital.
Story
The deaths of seemingly-healthy patients on Ward 106 need to be checked out. As far as stories go, this had an intriguing set-up, sudden twist and shocking reveal. It spooked, shook and surprised us! This scenario kept me engrossed in the game.
Puzzles
It delivers on medical-themed puzzles. Thinking in and outside the box is essential: I remember getting stumped a fair few times, so would say that this is a room for more experienced players.
Mise-en-scène
Just like American Die-ner, this room gave genuine vibes; I could believe I was there to visit someone in hospital. We were told they often spray it to give it a ‘sterile’ smell, too! Without giving anything away, the aforementioned twist comes with an amazing bit of tech.
Final Comments
We fought to the last puzzle and ran out of time. Gutted! Nonetheless, this was another great room: we were all really impressed with the mechanics. I really need to go back and do more!
