You’ve been driving for what seems like an eternity and your pupils are burning through their sockets. The dark, winding road just never ends and it feels like you are the only person left on the planet right now. You can’t even remember when you last passed another car. A sign for a Motel creeps up to you and passes by, the classic red neon tube lighting. Beneath it, ‘vacancy’ reads in blue and you decide to pull in and call it a night.
Judging by the exterior, this Motel has definitely seen better days. The drain pipes are half hanging down, the paint is faded and peeling and the ‘check in’ sign has toppled a little too far to the right. Entering into reception doesn’t make you feel any more welcome. A peculiar little man hobbles slowly from behind a doorway and stands at the reception desk. He does nothing more than put a form on the desk and a front door key next to it. This character has a very strange presence abouthim… almost sinister. He does not look you in the eye throughout the entire exchange.
After hastily making your way back outside the reception area you find your way to room 666, thankful to get into the room and finally chill out after a long day of driving. This room is not much better than the exterior. A single, messily made bed sits against a wall. An old school TV seems to be on permanent static and a locked, ominous looking wardrobe stands tall in the corner… who would lock a wardrobe? Not to mention the bars on the window! Too tired to kick up a fuss, you shake off the uneasy feeling and try to relax. A bit of exploration and you find a DVD in one of the drawers. With not much else to do, you decide to play it but what begins to unfold on the screen chills you to your very core…
A dawning realisation creeps over you, you’ve just checked into a Motel where guests never check back out. You may be about to endure a night of terror at the hands of the sadistic Motel manager. You must do everything you can to ensure you don’t end up on the slaughter table inside his gruesome torture chamber. If only it was as easy as leaving through the same door you entered…
NB: This room is for over 16’s only. Not suitable for pregnant players. Participants with heart conditions must check with a doctor before playing.

Good fun.

had the host enter chainsaw in hand which was entering to watch our newbie mates cowering in fear XD.

Dvds to find and make use of and another simple yet effective hidden clue I hadn't seen anyone else try (although only ever done about 12 at this point)

Game was ok - Room was smelly and mouldy.

Gameplay ok, but this centre is grim. The smell of mould went throughout the entire game and was very distracting. The scares barely worked as we were too busy covering our faces. If this game is somewhere else (Which it might be as its  a francise) go there instead as the game wasn't bad

poor hostingdangerousquite easy👻scary

Just me and hubby for this one, as it wasn’t suitable for kids and we were out and about for the day.

Game ok itself, nothing groundbreaking but everything flowed well and made sense. The actor coming into the room was fun and definitely gave some good scares, but the reason I am rating this so low was because of the venue and the host.

The host was uninterested throughout the briefing, barely looked at us or gave us the time of day, and it felt like we had inconvenienced him by booking.

As there was a rage room in that centre there was  piles of broken rubbish everywhere as we were shown out of the game, in an area that public should not be. The game itself was really run down and extremely dirty, and the overwhelming smell of damp and mould was unbearable in the game. If you value your lungs, avoid. Although I hear one of their other centres has the game, so maybe try it somewhere else.

unoriginalquite easy😨creepy

This game was ok. Some nice little spooky bits, but not a scary room.

It was on the easy side.

I'm not sure how old this room is but it definitely felt aged and not in a thematic way.

There was one part which I really didn't understand. I don't want to give any spoilers so this will be vague. There was part of the game that was supposed to ramp up the scare factor, but this didn't work. We were just stood in a passage, unable to progress, uncomfortably waiting for this part to end.

This was a straight-up horror room, there’s no denying that. But the puzzles flowed and we had fun, even with the live actor tormenting us at every turn. Horror fans will love it
