“Leave the money in the discussed location and the guy is yours to pick up in an hour.” Pause.
“Yeah, yeah, I got that. He’s in the hospital morgue. You know how to get in, don’t let anyone see you.”
A door slams and silence follows. The adrenaline begins to kick in and your limbs start to tremble. The feeling is slowly returning to your body and with it, the growing realisation of what has unfolded. You have 60 minutes to find a way out of this dead man’s freezer before your torturer finds you!

We enjoyed this game. I liked some of the puzzles, some were original that I hadn't seen before which was nice. We didn't get handcuffed like other reviews have mentioned which is a shame. Music also cut out halfway and didn't come back on, creating a very non immersive game. This room was rated scare factor 4/5, at most it was 2/5. No jump scares, at no point in the game did I feel scared, the extent of scare factor was no more than just some fake limbs on the floor. Was looking forward to a scary 'horror' room as described by our game host. Our host was great, she explained everything well. Some parts of the game were a bit broken which was a shame, like the telephone and the remote.

We did this room as a 2 and there was quite a lot to do, we managed to get to the last little bit but unfortuantely we still didn't manage to get out. We enjoyed the room and was a good concept.

I didn't hate this game in the same that others have done but there some issues going on. The Maths puzzle isn't as bad as other have indicated (we completed on our second attempt) you just need to get into a rhythm but the sheet could have changed as it didn't feel as old as other components. You do start the game handcuffed but the very first thing you find is the key so you almost have to ask what the point was. We opted for the non live actor version of this game and (like the others at the site) it's a linear experience.

I'm not going to mince words here: I hated this game. We played it as two teams of two, and our second group liked it even less. Reviewing escape games is inevitably subjective, but I try as best I can to separate out factors specific to my run-through of a game from underlying strengths and weaknesses, and from that point of view I'll grant it credit for an effective grim flair in its design and good follow-through on its story. But a flood of problems minor and major drowned any enjoyment of t...
We wouldn’t recommend Dead on Arrival to someone that has never played an escape game before, but we enjoyed it, escaping in about 33 minutes, which leads us to conclude that the puzzles are sound, and it’s worth giving it a go
