It’s the year 2067. Humankind did a great job at decimating itself, and everything scientists have been warning us about for centuries has become harsh reality. Weatherconditions became more extree, resources more scarce, and at last not much was left of the earth we used to know. You survived the numerous attempts of mother nature on your life and didn’t starve, but that is basically everything you have going for you. You have been roaming the wasteland for weeks in hope of finding another living soul out here. Nobody can really tell how many humans survived the apocalypse, but you are not ready to give up hope just yet. Just as you wonder if you are turning in circles, you spot something behind a huge pile of trash and metal. First you think your mind is playing tricks on you, but as you get closer you realize: that is a door! You push down on the rusty handle and step into the the darkness…

Compact room with some fun puzzles with the aim being of fixing up your car in time for a race. Attractively themed (or at least appropriately for a post-apocalyptic Mad Max world). Loses points for inattentive GM - game available in German or English but had mistakenly been partly set to German leaving us stuck - wouldn't have minded apart from it took us quite some time to get anyone's attention. Slightly cheesy ending - not sure how it would work in a team bigger than 2. We did have fun and would consider playing their other games - but not up there with The Room or Illuminati if you're only passing through as a tourist.
Last Human convinces with an authentic setting and really great integrated puzzles into the story. When you come out of a garage with dirty and smeared hands, you know that you have actually experienced this story.
