The first stop on our NL/BE trip was Poppet, the eagerly awaited 3rd Rock City Escape adventure behind the imposing monastery walls in Amersfoort. Best of all, the episodes keep getting longer! After Bloody Mary (60′) and Soup du Jour (75′), we at Poppet can now look forward to a comfortable 90′ playing time.

As usual, we are greeted by a person who remains “in character” the whole time. She leads us unerringly through the winding corridors of the monastery, where without her help we would undoubtedly get lost. She explains to us why she called us “specialists” here. She seems a bit nervous and doesn’t seem to have a particularly high level of confidence in our abilities. Apparently, other experts before us have tried in vain to unravel the story of little Amy and her doll. Is that perhaps the reason why she doesn’t want to accompany us? Arriving at our destination, she quickly pushes us through a door and the adventure begins – albeit in a completely different way than expected.
