Amazing Escape Brugge: Mission Michelangelo

During the second World War, the Nazis commit the most important art theft in history. They steal thousands of art pieces, made by the greatest masters in Europe.
From the Church of Our Lady in Bruges they take in 1944 one of the most important treasures: the ‘Madonna with child’ of Michelangelo. In order to prevent the statue and other pieces of art to fall in allied hands, German soldiers will put dynamite in the secret repository.
