Firstly, we'd like to thank our GM for being a fantastic host and for her patience! We really enjoyed the immersion in this room. However, we were really let down by what seems to be unnecessarily frustrating puzzles.
The first half of the game seemed to flow quite well (although there were a few occasions where the puzzle's solution didn't work the first time despite the method being correct), however the second half of the game did not follow in the same vein.
We very rarely need a lot of assistance from a GM (and we aren't shy in asking for help either) but the second half of this game was so ambiguous that we required constant assistance. Thankfully our GM was fabulous and knew exactly what additional information we needed to nudge us along.
Quite frankly, ambiguous and/or illogical puzzles do not make for a challenging room.
