We’re in the year 1500, at the peak of the Portuguese overseas discoveries, and Pedro Álvares Cabral, in a historic event for Portugal, discovers the Lands of Vera Cruz, now known as Brazil.

On the way back to Portugal, him and his crew, stop on Madeira Island to celebrate that important finding, on the last stop they would make before arriving in Lisbon. However, they are surprised by the Spanish fleet, captained by Christopher Columbus, which was on his way back from his expedition to the Central America, put in risk the Portuguese mission.

You have 60 minutes before the Spanish caravel gets to Spain and be the ones to stop this course of history!

Vera Cruz was the name originally given to the trans-Atlantic territories claimed by early Portuguese explorers that later became Brazil. This game’s premise is that you are the discoverers of that land, captured by a Spanish fleet at Madeira in your route home, trying to escape before your discovery is claimed by the Spaniards.
