illogicalbroken tech
Played this game whilst in Bournemouth with my Sister and her children. They loved it as they had never played a room before. However, the puzzles didn't make a lot of sense, the tech was broken/props damaged. The space felt cramped with the five of us. Felt way too commercial. I wouldn't recommend.

A decent effort at theming the room, though a background track of appropriate music/sound effects would have added to the immersion. Room contained a range of puzzle types, though linear in flow. Unfortunately a reset error of a key being left in a padlock detracted from the experience.

My first review since following the site and it had to be this. What a game - truly unique and special. The hosting was the best we have experienced and the games construction was perfect. We completed this as a family 2 adults and a 13 and 9 year old and we all absolutely loved it. I don't want to give any details but to simply say that your life will be improved by playing this game!

funnyimmersivegreat hostingquite easy
As the pro review says, this experience is more an immersive experience with puzzles than an escape room and reminded me very much of when Pier Pressure took over Preston Manor. That said, it was good fun - who wouldn't want to pretend to be a pirate on a replica of a famous medieval boat? The puzzles aren't complicated, but interacting with the cast - and more brilliantly - the boat itself is pretty cool. Probably more for the family than enthusiasts - not something you'd be looking to get a decent time for as you're very much dictated by the pace of other groups in front and behind you - just enjoy the experience.

A reasonably new room and good fun. A bit chilly and distraction of road noise. Well themed and set out as soon as youāre inside. Really good hosting from Alfie. A few bits in here that make you think, Iād say it would be difficult for younger members. We broke the room record but honestly we made a few mistakes - Iād set the challenge that I think itās achievable in 15 mins if a team is on it from the second they go in!
