Proper escape room where the puzzles are front and centre. It flowed very well not needing many prompts at all. It was a satisfying experience and loved a lot of set pieces. Would certainly recommend as a really great game.

Kadabra Escape Rooms is a new provider in Mataró, 30 km southeast of Barcelona. The Poison Escape Room is their first game and was THE positive surprise of our last Barcelona trip.

We were one of the first groups to be able to play it, so we didn’t have any feedback from other teams and didn’t know what to expect here.

Poison is about a villain (certain similarities to the well-known Joker cannot be denied) whose insidious plans to poison society must be foiled.

The room is advertised for 4-7 players. There were only three of us, which is actually not enough. For one thing, you’re split into two groups at the beginning, and an even number is better so the teams finish at about the same time. Communication and teamwork are the order of the day here, so 2 people per group are perfect. On the other hand, we were surprised after each section of the game that it was still going on.
