Hounds have made three absolutely amazing games all in one location and all for their first ever rooms. You are searching for a lost relic somewhere in the jungle, with help from (in our case) Teddy, a local explorer from the British Museum (with all the over the top Englishness that one person can muster, pip pip!). This game is great fun, loads of puzzles, beautifully decorated spaces and hosting that does not stop from walking in to walking out.Great fun all round.

This was the first room we played at Hounds, great Host, really nice venue and a lot of effort put into the rooms. Very immersive. Defainately worth the trip.

Fantastic. Is what a modern escape room should look to be - immersive, story driven. Combining puzzles with suitable theatrics without ruining the immersion.

There were 3 puzzles not reset correctly including the finale which spoiled the game at the end.

My favourite of the three rooms. Well crafted, nice attention to detail and the puzzles flowed very well. Not at all disappointed based on the reviews I had read. I was hoping for an epic finale but felt it really didn’t achieve that. Spoilt by similar rooms in Europe.

The main plus was the GM Aimee. They were amazing. Very funny, personalised the experience and loved their interactions. Couldn’t have been better. Thank you for a wonderful time.

I’ll admit, I am somewhat biased, being totally and automatically in love with almost any game that gives me an opportunity to live out my Indiana Jones fantasies, but Explorer’s Diary is about as close to perfect as a game could get.

I love a good temple game. And this is a very good temple (ish) game. Our first experience at Hounds and it was a spectacular one. From the in-character greeting by Sir Reginald to the frantic rush to the exit with literally two seconds remaining, this was an absolutely top class adventure

Crawley is fast becoming an escape room hot spot in the UK and we think Hounds Escape Rooms have yet again proved why with the opening of their new room The Explorers Diary. It had only been only for 9 or 10 days before we popped along to experience this highly anticipated room after playing their Southern Discomfort and Questionable Ethics rooms.
The Explorer’s Diary was an absolutely immersive and incredibly fun room to play. Being initially wowed by the beautiful set design and then challenged with high quality and varied puzzles, we couldn’t really have asked for much more.Another absolute triumph for Hounds. We loved this game.
