"100 years ago today a family disappeared from their house, never to be seen again. It was rumoured that the local mining baron paid men to force the family out. No one knows exactly what happened but bloodstains at the house told their own story. There was no proof that the mining baron was guilty but one year after the mystery at the house he disappeared without a trace.
Every year on the anniversary of the disappearance of the family strange lights and sounds have been seen and heard at the house. They have been getting brighter and louder every year. And now, 100 years on, everyone in the town is scared what is about to happen. Everyone is staying away from the house – it is is far too dangerous.
Except for you. You are strangers in town, caught in a terrible storm. You ran for a nearnby abandoned house for shelter but the door has locked shut behind you. There seems to be no way out and only an hour remains before 100 years is up. And woe betide anyone who is in the house when the hour comes …"
