The Oxford branch of City Mazes has four rooms, and Pandora is listed as the easiest. If going to this venue, be warned that it's some distance from the town centre, out by the southern ring-road - though this review is unlikely to persuade you to make the effort to get there.

This game (and, as it turned out, all the rooms at this venue) is divided into two clear, distinct halves. These could be described as 'kitchen owned by a severe depressive' and '90s rave with string'. You might wonder wh...

A review of four games at City Mazes in Oxford, none of which I'd recommend. While there were interesting moments in some of the games, they were easily outweighed by major flaws.
We play this escape room with a nonsensical theme because we're intrigued by the 'vision and sound' aspects of it.
So we spent the last thirty minutes of Pandora’s Escape completely stumped, because not one of our five-strong team could distinguish the colours of three different circles in a blacklit room. Not the greatest ending to a game ever. But first to beginnings.
