Every member of The Illuminati has gathered for its Annual General Meeting. Locked away in the Board Room, the higher order had just wrapped up the meeting when the lights suddenly dropped, and one of them killed the King of the Illuminati, otherwise known as Plato!
As junior members of The Illuminati, you and your team will have to gather any evidence from within the Board Room to find out who the killer was, how he or she did it, and where they have scarpered to! However, there may be a sting in the tail of this case which means you will need to be out within the hour, or it will be curtains for everybody!

Whilst we enjoyed this game and it had lovely hosts there was 1 puzzle which we struggled with and found to be a little illogical. We successfully escaped and I do recommend the room but I think their other rooms are better.
I did wonder what ‘Crux Codicillus’ means, but I’m not convinced that Google Translate is entirely accurate with its attempt of “cross booklet”. Or maybe it is - this game casts you as junior members of world-controlling conspiracy The Illuminati, but it’s clear from the intro video onwards that it doesn’t take itself too seriously.
Crux uses a mostly linear structure, so style of game play is closer to Haligonian than to Operation Moonshine; it’s a little longer though, with the time limit set...
A fun room that looks good and has plenty of enjoyable puzzles. Definitely one I'd recommend if you're in the area.
I don’t know what I was expecting from Crux Codicillus (other than crocodiles, which it definitely does not have), but what I got was a thoroughly satisfying who dunnit mystery in an absolutely stunning building.
Another fantastic room from The Escaporium. Great theming, brilliant storyline and an array of really fun puzzles. Not to mention we got to wear robes.
