Whilst your team of explorers were travelling through a cave you stumbled across a long abandoned mineshaft. Suddenly, tremors fill the cave and the walls begin to collapse, separating you from the rest of your team. Can you escape the mine before you run out of air, or will you be caved in?

Mixed feelings from this room. In general, the room was fine. I feel that some of the decor/theming could have had a bit more effort put into it to make it feel more immersive. A couple of puzzles seemed a bit odd and somewhat โthrown inโ. Some stronger elements to the room but a couple of missed opportunities (e.g. the ending would benefit from simple sound effects as it just sort of ended). I see potential with this room as some of the puzzles have creative elements. Our GM was lovely and attentive.
We like Cluetopia rooms, really enjoyed the theming for this one. It was a little trickier in places and Iโd say may be not to be tackled as a complete beginner as even I stood and looked round a bit overwhelmed for the first few minutes wondering where to start!
Definitely a room that needs good communication between your team members.
Another excellent addition to the clacton branch of cluetopia. Really enjoyable game with great hosts and original puzzles

Iโd like to think that weโve played enough escape rooms to know when a room is good even if it doesnโt click with us. Chaos at Calamity Mine is a good game Iโm sure of that, but it was just not the game for us.
