An engaging way to learn about Shakespeare and theatre, as well as historical context. This game gives people an active relationship with Romeo and Juliet, as they have to imagine themselves solving problems in character.

Having never read or seen the story, a lot of this was new to me. The format was good, and the clues (and hints) definitely covered everything, even though I did have to resort to hints more than once.
Being colourblind, I may have benefitted from another team member at one point, but it only slowed me down, rather than prevented me from solving it.
Looking forward to the next one

As a puzzle and Shakespeare lover this ticked lots of boxes for me. Nice combination of difficulty levels across the puzzles and good use of hints. The images used were very good and of the correct historical nature. I can't wait to play some more of these

An escape room with a difference. Takes us through the Shakespeare story, with plenty of quotes and plotlines, but allows us to change the outcome by solving the puzzles. I had great fun trying to work through the puzzles - there are hints for those of us who struggle with some of them. A couple of days later I went through it again with the 7 year old son of a friend, and he managed to make the puzzles look far easier than I managed! I recommend it and look forward to future games from this company.

An interesting take on the Escape room concept. The Romeo and Juliet theme is great for Shakespeare fans but previous knowledge of the play is not required. Their is a handy Hints and Tips option for those who get stuck. Also a engaging way of learning for those studying Shakespeare, referencing key plot elements and providing quotes.

"Romeo and Juliet" is an interactive puzzle experience that places players in the heart of one of the world’s greatest (and most tragic) love stories. The puzzling is quite light but focus on building tension towards the story’s climax was well done. I wish the hint system had a bit more cluing to it but for more experienced players this is not and issues. I would say this game is perfect players who enjoy Shakespeare, storytelling, and are looking to engage more with the play. I think this is also an excellent game to use in the education system for classes teaching Romeo and Juliet. Star-Crossed Puzzles appears to be planning to expand more with other plays and I would be definitely interested in seeing what more they will do.
