The boss has a personal mission for you to undertake under the highest degree of secrecy. His father was a part of an expedition which left in 1952 to seek the mountains near Tibet for a sign of a cryptid known as the Abominable Snowman. 7 members of the expedition left…but none ever returned. We need you to pick up their trail and climb your way to base camp. Rumors are flying that the expedition may have had another purpose entirely… one that has nothing to do with the Yeti. When you arrive, you can tell that the rumors are true about both. The expedition has a tent full of codes and technology…maps and ledgers… but the snow around it is covered with footprints, strange howls echo through the hills, and you have the oddest sensation that you are being hunted. Can you figure out the research, find the expedition, and escape with your very lives? Or will you be forced to come face to face with the mysterious Yeti?

Adventures in the snow with angry yetis.

Nice puzzles. Early telescape game, so most gameplay had you combine things by writing names in a text box. Not a real world room first.

We had problems with a map puzzle, because you had to be really precise in adding elements and it didn't register the part of the element that felt natural for us. We used hints to confirm that we were right in placement and then we knew we had to fiddle things to make it work. A bit frustrating.

We really like a puzzle about footprints.

In general the game had a nice flow and it was fun to combine a lot of things towards the end.

Since Escape The Crate's bread and butter is box subscription games, we weren't sure how they will design a digital game. We were really pleased with the quality of the graphics, interface utilization and puzzles. The added background music and alert sounds whenever a player did something paired nicely with the team (except one of our players jumped every time when an alert sound happened haha). As enthusiasts, we finished the game in 34 minutes time but were truly entertained the entire time. This game definitely left us wanting more digital experiences from Escape The Crate. We do have a little "insider news" for you. The creator said that they'll be making more of them! For the game boxes that they will not or cannot bring back as physical boxes, they'll be making them into digital games instead!
