We had so much fun as a team of two. Search heavy room which I personally love. Some unique “wow” moments and just an overall wonderful experience.

originalillogical
Fun to play with a huge set but often felt illogical and chaotic. The conversion to English was frankly a bit naff, with many dodgy translations and some props still in full Spanish. Puzzles lacked any signposting really, and we needed a lot of clues from the GM. Like La Mina, felt the game was designed around some cool moments and bits of tech, with puzzles added as an afterthought. Story felt all over the place, and the space just felt very wasted. With a huge set like this there should be enough puzzles to fill the entire 90 minutes for 2 people, instead we escaped in 60 minutes. Theming was alright, but felt tired and some of the props were just very worn. Some cool moments and finale was fun, but not a room I'd recommend

Played this alongside La Mina during a ER trip to Barcelona - they are both fantastic games but this one edged it slightly for me. There are a lot of unusual moments and the game is expansive with plenty to do. There is a live actor involved which I am usually not a fan of, however this time it was a lot of fun. Does not matter if you have not seen the TV show it is loosely based on. Overall normal difficulty, did need a bit of clueing at the end but this is because we are terrible at searching.

The 2 game of Unreal Room Escape, the makers of La Mina, was one of the highlights of our Barcelona trip for me, and not only because I really like the series NARCOS. It’s just fun to dive into the time of the drug cartels, to search for the stolen Dextronetol in the spacious rooms of the hostile Salazar Cartels and to experience all sorts of strange things.
