Indizio: Mirror Mirror On The Wall

Centrally located, just a stone throw from Cologne’s cathedral is Indizio-Koln. We were lucky enough to have the escape room thrown into our air bnb stay, as it was located in the apartment above.

The place itself has an Indiana Jones temple vibe, is spacious and well presented. Of the 4 rooms on offer we chose the ‘Mirror Mirror On The Wall’. To our surprise the room we started in had next to no mirrors and instead had numbers scattered all over the black painted walls, it is the second room you unlock which gives this room its title! As you may imagine the puzzles involve many mirrors, along with lasers, some tricky physical/mental tasks and the usual suspects- padlocks… as well as the chance for a cardio workout.

There is plenty to solve and get stuck into, but nothing too challenging (compared to other rooms I’ve done). As the clues tended to flow in a linear fashion, I’d recommend 3-4 people for this room tops! Some parts are still in their infancy, we had to give things a nudge or two to help them along, but on the whole the room was made to a good quality. The hardest and yet most obvious part was the final clue.. my tip- don’t over think it! Certainly worth a visit and if we’d have had more time, we’d have done the others.
