This review was written more than a year after we played it. Whilst we’re confident it’s accurate, it’s short and light on details.
This game is no longer available.
Toby says:

Like Cryptex’s other room, the decor is fairly simple. I remember this room as an example of how use of UV can be frustrating: there were a considerable number of scraps of paper and other objects, and when we unearthed a UV torch we then had to laboriously check everything with it, as well as all walls, the floor, the ceiling, and so on – which was indeed necessary, but became a chore.
We also skipped part of the room by guessing a code. If you have an alphabetic code to find, with a series of puzzles to solve to give you each letter, and then the final code is an English word that can be guessed without having all the letters, it’s just asking for players to skip over. (That could be a nice feature for a room, if it deliberately has several tracks of which the players only need to complete some… but that clearly wasn’t the intention here.) 2.5 / 5
Sam disagrees:

There are some rooms where I’ve found UV very frustrating; this wasn’t the worst, and it was compensated for by some very original puzzles we worked through. We did “hack” a couple as Toby mentioned; I personally enjoyed doing that and coming back after to work out how I should have got the answer. 4 / 5
