This review was written more than a year after we played it. Whilst we’re confident it’s accurate, it’s short and light on details.
Wicklewood doesn’t have much in the way in theme or story, it’s more just a room full of puzzles – but they’re excellent puzzles. There are a couple that are quite unusual and pleasing, and more physical than normal. Personally I’m all in favour of rooms that require a bit of dexterity as well as pure mental puzzles.
Although the room itself isn’t huge on production values, the combination of all the puzzles is very deliberately put together in a way that shows care and effort and is a delight to play. There is an excellent variety of puzzles so there should be something for everyone!
